Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1005 AM MDT Sun Mar 26 2017

.Discussion...
An broad upper trough will move across the region through the
afternoon, bringing scattered showers to areas over and near the
higher terrain through early afternoon, along with a few possible
thunderstorms to the far southeast plains this afternoon.

This cooler and more unsettled weather pattern remains in the
offing through at least the end of next week, as two more weather
systems look to move across the region. These systems could bring
rounds of significant precipitation to much of south central and
southeast Colorado, with the first system affecting the area from
Monday night through the day Wednesday, and the second system
possibly affecting the area Thursday night through Saturday.

Smoke dispersion will be generally fair to good this afternoon,
with pockets of very good dispersion along the I-25 corridor due
to gusty north winds. Dispersions will drop into the poor category
overnight with slightly higher dispersions expected on Monday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
