Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
358 AM MDT Wed Jun 21 2017

.Discussion...

Hot weather will continue through Thursday with highs in the lower
elevations in the 90s and lower 100s. Mountain areas will see
isolated shower activity this afternoon and evening which may move
east into the I-25 corridor during the evening hours, with similar
showers and thunderstorms expected on Thursday. Over the Plains,
strong to severe storms are possible out near the Kansas border.

By Friday, a cold front will arrive leading to cooler temperatures
through the weekend along with better chances for widespread showers
and thunderstorms, especially Friday and Saturday. Continued
chances for mountain showers and thunderstorms will continue into
next week.

Smoke dispersions will be excellent this afternoon, with generally
fair to good conditions expected overnight tonight.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
