Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
251 PM MDT Sun Oct 15 2017

.Discussion...

Dry weather is expected to last into late week across the
district with temperatures generally a few degrees above
normal. Winds will generally be light and diurnally driven.

By late week, 20 foot winds will increase in advance of a
strong pacific weather system moving towards the area. A
Pacific cold front will cross the region sometime Saturday
with snow in the mountains and possible showers at lower
elevations. Cooler weather will likely return to the region
by Sunday.

Near critical to critical fire weather conditions may be
possible Friday and possibly Saturday.

Fair to good smoke dispersion is anticipated across the
entire district both tomorrow and Tuesday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
