Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
426 AM MST Sat Feb 18 2017

.Discussion...

A storm system will spread snow into the Continental Divide
today which will ramp up late tonight through Sunday. Meanwhile
the remainder of southern CO will remain dry and windy...though
humidity values across the plains should remain above critical
fire weather thresholds. As the system moves across the state on Sunday
there will be a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms across the
plains. Dry weather will return for Monday with winds increasing
again on Tuesday when conditions could approach critical fire weather
conditions across the plains. Meanwhile...snow will spread back
into the mountains as the next storm system moves across the state
on Thursday.

Smoke dispersions will rise into the good to very good category
across the plains on Saturday...with generally fair conditions
across the mountains. Smoke dispersions will rise into the fair
to good category across the mountains on Sunday...with very good
to excellent dispersion across the plains.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
