Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
309 PM MST Fri Dec 8 2017

...A Red Flag Warning for gusty winds, low relative humidity and
dry fuels remains in effect until 5 PM MST today for fire weather
zones 226 through 237 which includes all of the Interstate 25
corridor and southeastern Colorado plains...

.Discussion...

Critical fire weather conditions will persist until 5 PM across the
southeast plains before winds start to decrease and humidity values
increase above critical thresholds. It will still remain breezy
overnight across the far eastern plains but gusts will stay below
20 mph after midnight.

Warm and dry weather will continue through next week with lighter
winds for Saturday and Sunday. There will could some be some
near critical fire weather conditions for Monday across the far
southeast plains.

Most areas will see good or better afternoon dispersion on Saturday
though portions of the San Luis Valley will remain poor. Lower
dispersions can be expected on Sunday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
