.Discussion...

Critical fire weather conditions will develop
along the southern I-25 corridor today, with widespread
critical conditions possible over the entire I-25 corridor and
all the eastern plains on Thursday.

A strong pacific storm will move across the region Thursday
night and Friday, bringing much cooler and wetter weather to the
area. There will be a good chance of wetting rain and snow
across all of the district during this time period. It will also
be very windy on Friday, with strong north winds likely.

Dry and cool weather returns on Saturday, before another weather
system brings a renewed chance of rain and snow to much of the
region starting Sunday.

Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach excellent levels over
the mountains and southern I-25 corridor today, with fair
to good levels over the eastern plains. On Thursday,
dispersion will be excellent area wide as winds become
strong.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
