Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1118 PM MDT Fri Apr 21 2017

.Discussion...

Minor updates to the precipitation chances through Saturday
morning. Otherwise, no other changes.

Unsettled weather will continue into Saturday as a weak system on
the back side of the departing low pressure system moves across
Colorado. Generally isolated to scattered rain and snow showers will
affect the southeast plains and mountains. Snowfall accumulations will
be confined to the mountain areas with accumulations of 1 to 5 inches
across Pikes Peak and the Wet mountains.

Dry and warmer weather will return for late weekend into early next
week with cooler and unsettled weather returning for the mid to latter
part of the week.

All areas will drop into the poor category overnight with smoke
dispersion rates rising into the fair to good category across the
plains Saturday afternoon. The mountains will remain poor.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
