Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
952 AM MDT Sun Oct 22 2017

.Discussion...

Dry northwest flow at mid levels is anticipated during the
next few days over the district. A weak cool front will
move across the area Monday, but no precipitation is
anticipated with it. 20 foot winds will be relatively light
at lower levels, with breezy to windy conditions at higher
elevations.

By Thursday and into the weekend, a rather potent weather
system will move across the region. This system promises to
bring much colder air to the district along with the chance
of some precipitation, especially across the mountains.

Overall, smoke dispersion should be good or better both
this afternoon and Monday afternoon across the entire
district.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
