Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
354 AM MDT Thu Oct 19 2017

.Discussion...

Generally dry and warm conditions expected through Friday, with
only a few spotty thunderstorms possible over the mountains
Thursday afternoon and evening. Friday will be windy and dry
ahead of an approaching upper level disturbance. Near critical
fire weather conditions will be possible over parts of the area.

Over the weekend, a weak upper level disturbance and cold front
will move through the district. This will bring breezy and cooler
weather to the district on Saturday with temperatures falling back
closer to average. Isolated to scattered showers will be possible,
with any accumulating snow confined to the highest terrain.

Sunday and Monday, dry and warmer weather will return with
temperatures climbing back above average. Tuesday and Wednesday,
another dry cold front could move through the district returning
temperatures to near average.

Smoke dispersion will be fair to good this afternoon, with
very good to excellent dispersions expected on Friday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
