Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
652 PM MDT Mon Apr 24 2017

.Discussion...

A weather system will bring precipitation to the Continental Divide
tonight through Tuesday, with several inches over the central mountains.
Tuesday an upper level low will track from UT, across the Four Corners
and then into northeast New Mexico Tuesday night. Precipitation will
spread across all of southern Colorado on Tuesday and will continue
into early Wednesday morning. The southeast Colorado mountains will
have the potential for several inches of snow.

Drier weather is then expected for Wednesday, but there will probably
still be some mountain showers. Thursday will be somewhat unsettled
with chances for showers across much of the area. A much stronger and
wetter system will affect the area Friday and Saturday. There could
even be snow down to the lowest elevations and widespread freezing
temperatures beginning Friday night.

Most locations should see good to very good smoke dispersion on
Tuesday.
