Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
300 PM MST Wed Nov 22 2017

.Discussion...

Dry weather will continue across the district with temperatures
remaining above normal. Winds will increase on Friday and near
critical fire weather conditions will be possible, particularly
for the southern I-25 corridor. Sunday may again be a day with
near critical fire weather conditions. The next weather system
to impact the area will arrive on Monday, spreading the possibility
of snow to the central mountains and strong winds for the plains.
Monday could also be a critical fire weather day for much of the
southeast mountains and plains depending on the timing of the system.

Smoke dispersion will be good across the mountain areas and I-25
corridor Thursday afternoon. The San Luis Valley should have
poor dispersion, and the southeast plains will be fair. Friday
afternoon smoke dispersion should be good or very good in most
locations.
