Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
303 PM MDT Sat Apr 22 2017

.Discussion...

Other than the possibility of a few evening showers over the eastern
mountains and some of the plains, dry weather can be expected
tonight and Sunday. Monday afternoon some showers may move into
the central Colorado mountains but the rest of the area will be
dry. Gusty south to southwest winds can be expected over much of
the area on Sunday afternoon and again Monday afternoon. Near
critical fire weather conditions may occur, but with recent heavy
rainfall and the continued green-up, the fuels are probably not
critical in most locations.

Tuesday through the end of the week, the weather will be
unsettled with cooler temperatures and increasing chances for
precipitation. Thursday and Friday there may be a good chance
for wetting precipitation over much of the area.

Excellent smoke dispersion is expected in the afternoon hours
of Sunday and Monday

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
