THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AN UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL BRING SNOW TO THE AREA THROUGH THIS
EVENING. SNOW WILL INITIALLY DEVELOP THIS MORNING ALONG THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND SPREAD EAST INTO THE PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON.
MOUNTAIN LOCATIONS WILL LIKELY SEE 1 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW THROUGH
THIS EVENING. FOR AREAS ON THE PLAINS, UP TO AN INCH MAY BE
POSSIBLE WEST OF INTERSTATE 25, WHILE AREAS EAST WILL SEE LITTLE IF
ANY SNOW ACCUMULATION. EXPECT SNOW TO COME TO AN END OVER THE
MOUNTAINS BY MIDNIGHT. FURTHER EAST, SNOW WILL DISSIPATE FROM WEST
TO EAST ACROSS THE PLAINS BY EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A COLD FRONT MAY BRING A CHANCE OF SNOW TO THE REGION LATE MONDAY
THROUGH TUESDAY AND POSSIBLY INTO WEDNESDAY. HOW MUCH SNOW WILL
FALL IS A BIG QUESTION RIGHT NOW. SOME FORECAST MODELS SHOW A
STORM TRACK THAT WOULD BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO SOUTHERN
COLORADO. OTHERS, DO NOT. BECAUSE OF THE WIDELY VARYING MODEL
SOLUTIONS, FORECAST CONFIDENCE IS VERY LOW RIGHT NOW. KEEP
CHECKING BACK FOR UPDATED FORECASTS THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE TODAY AND TONIGHT FOR AREAS WEST OF INTERSTATE 25.
