THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS ARE ANTICIPATED OVER
THE MOUNTAINS AND ACROSS THE PLAINS NEAR THE NEW MEXICO BORDER
TODAY. THE PRIMARY THREATS WITH THESE STORMS WILL BE GUSTY WINDS
TO AROUND 45 MPH AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE MOUNTAIN AREAS
SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER
THE LOWER ELEVATIONS. THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR ONE OR TWO
STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS IN LOCATIONS NEAR THE KANSAS BORDER
SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH HAIL AROUND 1 INCH IN
DIAMETER AND WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH BEING THE MAIN
THREATS. SOME LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE OVER
THE HIGH MOUNTAIN PEAKS ON SATURDAY.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER AND NEAR
THE MOUNTAINS MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH LIGHTNING AND WIND
GUSTS AROUND 40 MPH BEING THE MAIN THREATS. TUESDAY AFTERNOON THERE
BE SOME ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THE KANSAS BORDER. WITH
SCATTERED SHOWERS EXPECTED OVER THE MOUNTAINS ON TUESDAY...THERE
COULD BE SOME LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER THE HIGHER PEAKS. ON
WEDNESDAY THERE WILL BE THE CHANCE FOR ISOLATED TO SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE I-25 CORRIDOR AND WESTWARD...WITH LIGHTNING
AND GUSTY WINDS BEING THE MAIN THREATS. THE HIGHER MOUNTAIN PEAKS
COULD AGAIN SEE SOME LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATION.

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY OVER PORTIONS OF THE
PLAINS AND SOUTHERN INTERSTATE 25 CORRIDOR SATURDAY
AFTERNOON...INCLUDING AREAS AROUND PUEBLO...LA JUNTA AND
TRINIDAD. THE COMBINATION OF GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS AND LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL PROMOTE THE RAPID SPREAD AND GROWTH OF ANY
FIRE WHICH MAY IGNITE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

WEATHER SPOTTERS WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY OR TONIGHT.
