THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

AN ACTIVE PATTERN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH SOME
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS EXPECTED ON TUESDAY ALONG
THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AS A WEAK DISTURBANCE MOVES ACROSS THE
AREA.

THE NEXT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SPREAD ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW
ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY. LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE...ESPECIALLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT
INTO THURSDAY...WITH THE HEAVIER AMOUNTS MOST LIKELY TO FALL
ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS. AT THIS TIME...ONLY LIGHT SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST MOUNTAINS AND
PLAINS.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM MAY BRING MORE SNOW TO THE REGION NEXT
WEEKEND.

THERE ARE CONSIDERABLE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE FORECAST MODELS
REGARDING STORM TRACK AND STRENGTH FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND
THURSDAY AND ESPECIALLY FOR THE SYSTEM PROJECTED TO ARRIVE NEXT
WEEKEND. THIS LEADS TO BELOW AVERAGE CONFIDENCE IN THE ANTICIPATED
SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ACROSS SOUTHERN COLORADO. PLEASE MONITOR THE
LATEST FORECASTS CONCERNING THESE DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEMS.
