THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

THERE MAY CONTINUE TO BE SOME LIGHT FREEZING RAIN ACROSS KIOWA...
PROWERS...BENT AND BACA COUNTIES THROUGH AROUND 10 PM...BEFORE THE
PRECIPITATION IN THOSE AREAS SWITCHES TO SNOW. MEANWHILE...SNOW
WILL CONTINUE TO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST AND SOUTH
CENTRAL COLORADO OVERNIGHT. THE FORECAST MODELS ARE HAVING A HARD
TIME PINPOINTING WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOW MAY FALL

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY ON MONDAY. ADDITIONAL
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER
MOUNTAINS AREAS...WHILE AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR TWO IS POSSIBLE
ACROSS SOME OF THE PLAINS. LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER
THE MOUNTAINS MONDAY NIGHT...AND MAY ALSO OCCUR OVER PORTIONS OF
THE SOUTHEAST PLAINS...MAINLY SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 50.

THE NEXT UPPER STORM SYSTEM LOOKS TO MOVE INTO THE REGION LATE IN
THE WEEK. LIGHT SNOW MAY MOVE INTO THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AS EARLY
AS THURSDAY AFTERNOON, WITH INCREASING SNOW FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.
ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVIER SNOW MAY BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY
ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE, BUT HIGH UNCERTAINTY EXISTS AT THIS
TIME DUE TO STORM TRACK AND TIMING.
