THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ADDITIONAL
ACCUMULATING SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY FROM LATER TODAY
INTO TONIGHT.  ADDITIONAL PROJECTED SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THROUGH
TONIGHT WITH THIS EVENT RANGE FROM ONE TO FIVE INCHES OVER MANY
LOWER ELEVATION LOCATIONS WITH FOUR TO TEN INCHES ANTICIPATED OVER
FAVORED HIGHER TERRAIN AND MOUNTAINS LOCATIONS.  LOCALLY HEAVIER
SNOW IS ALSO POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE ON FRIDAY ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH
CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO. THEN A PERSISTENT FETCH OF PACIFIC
MOISTURE WILL BRING WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW TO THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE REGION...BEGINNING FRIDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUING
THROUGH MONDAY. ONE TO THREE FEET OF SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THIS STORM ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE...WITH THE HEAVIEST
ACCUMULATIONS FALLING ACROSS THE EASTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS WHERE
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE. WINDS WILL INCREASE
FRIDAY NIGHT AND ESPECIALLY ON SATURDAY ACROSS THE EASTERN SAN
JUAN MOUNTAINS RESULTING IN NEAR WHITE OUT CONDITIONS WITH BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW.

THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS WILL ALSO SEE SOME HEAVY
ACCUMULATIONS ACROSS THE HIGHER PEAKS AND WEST FACING SLOPES FROM
THIS STORM...WHILE PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE ACCUMULATIONS WILL
BE POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE AS WAVES OF SNOW SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA WITH
EACH DISTURBANCE THAT MOVES OUT FROM THE DESERT SOUTHWEST.

ANOTHER SYSTEM WILL DROP IN FROM THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST ACROSS
COLORADO TUESDAY NIGHT OR WEDNESDAY SENDING ANOTHER ROUND OF
WIDESPREAD SNOW ACROSS THE REGION. IF IT MAINTAINS ITS CURRENT
TRACK...THIS SYSTEM WILL FOCUS MODERATE TO POTENTIALLY HEAVY
ACCUMULATIONS ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT PLAINS
ONCE AGAIN.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO TODAY AND
TONIGHT.
