THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH VALLEYS, AND ALONG PORTIONS
OF THE INTERSTATE 25 CORRIDOR. SOME OF THE HIGHER MOUNTAIN AREAS
COULD SEE LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR TWO. THE MAIN
STORM THREATS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS
AROUND 40 MPH. SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS WILL ALSO BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING SMALL HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

WARMER AND DRIER WEATHER WILL RETURN TO THE REGION FRIDAY AND
PERSIST INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THERE WILL STILL BE A CHANCE FOR
SOME AFTERNOON OR EVENING THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE PERIOD...MAINLY
OVER AND NEAR THE HIGHER TERRAIN. THE MAIN THREATS FROM ANY STORMS
WOULD BE LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS. ON SUNDAY...THERE COULD BE A
FEW STRONGER STORMS ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHEAST PLAINS...WITH A DRY
LINE IN THE VICINITY OF THE WESTERN KANSAS BORDER. THESE STORMS
WOULD BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE TODAY OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND HIGH VALLEYS.
