THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

DRY CONDITIONS...STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS...COMBINED WITH DRY FUELS
WILL RESULT IN HIGH FIRE DANGER IN THE SAN LUIS VALLEY...HUERFANO
COUNTY AND LAS ANIMAS COUNTY. SOUTHERN PUEBLO AND PORTIONS OF OTERO
COUNTY MAY ALSO SEE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS DEVELOP LATE
THIS AFTERNOON.

ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON OVER THE
CENTRAL COLORADO MOUNTAINS. TONIGHT...SNOW WILL SPREAD ALONG MUCH
OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE WITH THE BEST CHANCES FOR ACCUMULATING
SNOW BEING OVER LAKE COUNTY AND WESTERN CHAFFEE COUNTY...WHERE 1 TO
4 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE TUESDAY AFTERNOON
ACROSS ALL OF THE SOUTHEAST PLAINS. DRY AND WARM WEATHER WILL
COMBINE WITH LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES AND GUSTY WINDS TO CREATE
CONDITIONS FAVORABLE FOR THE SPREAD OF WILDFIRES. IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS...SNOW SHOWERS AND STRONG WINDS WILL CREATE AREAS OF
BLOWING SNOW AND POOR VISIBILITY.

ON WEDNESDAY...A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE PLAINS WITH
GUSTY WINDS AND RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS DEVELOPING. THE BEST CHANCE
FOR PRECIPITATION WILL BE THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS AND ALONG THE
SOUTHERN I-25 CORRIDOR. ANY SNOW SHOWERS THAT OCCUR COULD CAUSE
SLICK ROADS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE OVER LAKE COUNTY AND WESTERN CHAFFEE COUNTY TONIGHT.
