This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Gusty southwest winds will combine with warm temperatures and low
humidity values to bring near critical fire weather conditions to
the eastern plains this afternoon. Burning is strongly discourage
today.

Snow will continue across the mountains this afternoon, though
will be decreasing across the southwest mountains. Additional
accumulations of 1 to 3 inches will be possible this afternoon
with the heaviest occuring across the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges.

Light snow will be possible across the greater I-25 corridor region
and eastern slopes of the southern mountains tonight. Accumulations
over the plains will generally be less than one inch, although 2
inches may occur in regions from south of Pueblo to north of
Trinidad. Across the eastern slopes of the southern mountains, 1 to
3 inches will be possible, with the heaviest amounts across the Wet
mountains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

An upper disturbance will clear the area to the south on Friday
morning. An additional inch or two of snow may be possible over
the higher terrain.

Southwest flow aloft will favor upslope flow across the
Continental Divide Monday through Thursday. Snow will likely be
heaviest over the San Juan Range, with lesser amounts further
north. Several inches are snow are possible through this period.

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will be
necessary today across the mountains, and across the greater I-25
corridor region tonight.
