THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A COUPLE OF MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS
THE FAR EASTERN PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THE BEST
CHANCE OF SEVERE STORMS WILL BE EAST OF A LINE FROM EADS...TO LAS
ANIMAS...TO KIM. WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH AND HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF
QUARTERS WILL BE POSSIBLE.

ELSEWHERE...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN
THE MOUNTAINS...GENERALLY SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 50.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE
PLAINS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE PALMER DIVIDE AND RATON MESA REGIONS.
THE PRIMARY THREAT FROM THESE STORMS WILL BE WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

ALL THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE
PERIOD. THE BEST CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE IN THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS. THE PRIMARY THREAT WITH THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS...AND SMALL HAIL.

MOISTURE INCREASES SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WHICH WILL MEAN A BETTER
CHANCE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL
AROUND AN INCH IN DIAMETER ON THE SOUTHEAST PLAINS.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING ACROSS THE FAR
EASTERN PLAINS.
