THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE EAST OF THE AREA THIS MORNING.
LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO DROP SOUTH ACROSS THE EASTERN PLAINS
BEFORE DISSIPATING THIS AFTERNOON. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES
ARE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING...PRIMARILY OVER THE PALMER DIVIDE AND
AREAS NORTH OF HIGHWAY 50. IN ADDITION...STRONG WINDS GUSTING TO
NEAR 35 MPH WILL PRODUCE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW CAUSING
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ON AREA HIGHWAYS.

PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE THROUGH TONIGHT.  AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE
POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY OVER THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ON NORTHWEST FACING
SLOPES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...A COUPLE OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES
WILL BRING A FEW SNOW SHOWERS TO THE REGION. ANY ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE SCATTERED...LIGHT AND CONFINED MAINLY TO AREAS IN A
NEAR THE MOUNTAINS.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
LIKELY TODAY OVER ALL OF SOUTHERN COLORADO AND TONIGHT ALONG THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.
