THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED PRIMARILY AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ARE ANTICIPATED OVER HIGHER TERRAIN LOCATIONS WITH THE PRIMARY
THREATS BEING LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS AROUND 45 MPH AT TIMES...AS
WELL HAZARDOUS LIGHTNING. IN ADDITION...ONE OR TWO OF THE STRONGER
STORMS COULD PRODUCE PERIODS OF MODERATE TO POTENTIALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL...WHICH COULD BECOME PROBLEMATIC...ESPECIALLY IF
STORMS DIRECTLY IMPACT RECENT BURN SCARS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THURSDAY AFTERNOON A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP ALONG THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. ON FRIDAY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED...WITH THE BEST CHANCES BEING ALONG THE SOUTHERN BORDER
AREAS AS THE REMNANTS OF HURRICANE ODILE MOVE ACROSS NEW MEXICO.
SATURDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
OVER SOME OF THE LOWER ELEVATIONS...WITH SCATTERED ACTIVITY OVER
AND NEAR THE MOUNTAINS. THE MAIN THUNDERSTORM THREATS WILL BE
LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS...BUT SOME OF THE STRONGER
STORMS MAY PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.
