THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL BLANKET THE LOWER ARKANSAS RIVER VALLEY
FROM PUEBLO TO KANSAS THIS MORNING.  VISIBILITIES WILL DROP TO
NEAR ZERO AT TIMES. TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS ALONG THE HIGHWAY
50 CORRIDOR. SLOW DOWN AND USE CAUTION. CONDITIONS SHOULD IMPROVE
BY LATE MORNING.

PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND
OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE EASTERN MOUNTAIN RANGES THROUGH THE
EVENING.  ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN
THESE AREAS BY SUNDAY MORNING.

ELSEWHERE...SOME SPOTTY SNOW OR RAIN SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE
NEXT 24 HOURS.  LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR 2 WILL BE POSSIBLE
IN THE MOUNTAINS.  GENERALLY...LITTLE OR NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS
EXPECTED AT ELEVATIONS BELOW 6000 FEET.  HOWEVER...THE FAR SOUTHEAST
PLAINS...PARTICULARLY BACA AND PROWERS COUNTIES...MAY SEE SOME LIGHT
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EVENING.  THESE AREAS
COULD SEE UP TO AN INCH OF SNOW AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE TRACKS
THROUGH THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES DURING THE EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL TRACK ACROSS COLORADO SUNDAY NIGHT
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. ROUNDS OF HEAVY...BLOWING SNOW WILL MOVE
THROUGH THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE WITH PERIODS OF SNOW SHOWERS OVER
THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS. ACROSS THE LOWER ELEVATIONS...THERE WILL BE
CHANCES FOR SNOW SHOWERS AT TIMES...PARTICULARLY OVER THE PIKES
PEAK REGION AND ALSO ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHEAST PLAINS. THE BEST
CHANCES FOR SNOW ACROSS THE LOWER ELEVATIONS WILL OCCUR ON
TUESDAY.

TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THROUGH THE EXTENDED PERIOD WILL BE
SIGNIFICANT ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS
COULD SEE SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW. ACROSS THE LOWER
ELEVATIONS...LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR 2 WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
LIKELY THROUGH THE EVENING ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND POSSIBLY
OVER THE FAR SOUTHEAST PLAINS.
