...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE JUNKINS BURN SCARE OF EAST
CENTRAL CUSTER AND WEST CENTRAL PUEBLO COUNTIES UNTIL 600 PM MDT...

At 526 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm 18 miles
northwest of Greenhorn Mountain, or 31 miles west of Pueblo, moving
east at 15 mph. This storm is moving east across the southern fringe
of the Junkins Burn Scar and is generally producing light rain. This
storm may intensify, however, as it could interact with an outflow
boundary moving south and west across central Pueblo County. Those
living in or around the Junkins Burn Scar should stay weather aware.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Custer
and west central Pueblo Counties.
