NORTHEASTERN CUSTER AND NORTHWESTERN PUEBLO COUNTIES UNTIL 1215 PM
MDT...

At 1145 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Florence, or 33 miles west of Pueblo, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

Brief heavy rain, dime size hail and winds in excess of 50 mph will
be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Penrose, and Wetmore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
