  Central Moore County in central North Carolina...
  Southeastern Montgomery County in central North Carolina...
  Northeastern Richmond County in central North Carolina...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 539 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
  Biscoe, or 9 miles southeast of Troy, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Southern Pines, Carthage, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, Whispering Pines,
  Pinebluff, Foxfire, Candor, Taylortown, and Norman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This storm is produced widespread wind damage across Stanly county.
