.DISCUSSION...

A surface high pressure system is the dominant weather feature
for southern New England today through early Saturday.
Originating in Canada, this system brings rather dry conditions
into play along with light winds, 5-10 mph out of the north,
becoming northwest this afternoon. Friday winds will be light and
variable, becoming westerly by the afternoon 4-6 mph.

Today minimum relative humidity will be between 15 to 20 percent
and between 25 and 30 percent on Friday.

.OUTLOOK...Saturday through Wednesday...

High pressure system shifts east Saturday along with increasing
chances of light rain overnight into Sunday. Drier conditions
return with increasing temperatures through Monday along with
showers early next week.
