.DISCUSSION...

Light and variable winds early this morning are expected to shift
to the north-northeast around 6 mph by the planned ignition time
of 1200. Transport winds from the north is expected to keep smoke
from impacting MN-73. As for MN-210 to the south, impacts will
likely be minimal as the mixing height increases to around
4,000ft AGL and smoke dispersal improves. A descending dry layer
combined with deep mixing today will result in min RH today dropping
to 20 percent in the early to mid afternoon. Cloud cover will
increase through the afternoon from the southwest with surface
winds veering to the northeast and eventually east by this
evening.

Widespread rain showers with strong easterly winds are expected
tomorrow as a slow-moving low pressure system moves into the
region.
