.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Dry conditions are expected for the remainder of the afternoon
and early evening. Minimum relative humidity will range from 28%
to 45%. 20-foot winds and transport winds will be southwesterly at
3-8 mph and 7-12 mph, respectively. Late this evening and
overnight, isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are
possible north of a line from Columbus to Macon to Athens.
Isolated to scattered showers and storms are possible tomorrow
(Friday) as well across much of north and central Georgia, with
the potential for gusty, erratic winds and cloud-to-ground
lightning. Relative humidity will generally be greater than that
today. 20-foot winds and transport winds will be westerly at 5-10
mph and 10-15 mph, respectively.
