This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

Today is a set-up day leading into a strong spring storm for Monday
and Tuesday this week. Temperatures today are ranging from the upper
60s to lower 70s. Winds are from the east-southeast at 25 to 35 mph
with some gusts up to 40 mph. Clouds are increasing and light rain
showers are developing from south to north.

This afternoon and evening, a few isolated thunderstorms are
possible, which will gradually spread some scattered rain showers
northward. Winds in the eastern and northern portions of the region
will remain 25 to 35 mph while winds in the western and southwestern
portions will become light and variable. Low temperatures will range
from the mid 40s to lower 50s.

Monday through Tuesday, expect moderate to heavy rainfall
accumulating up to 2 inches for some locations. Winds will be from
the northwest at 35 to 45 mph with some gusts up to 60 mph. Some
area creeks and streams will be begin to rise in response. Expect
lows in the 40s. High temperatures on Monday will range from the mid
50s to lower 60s, while high temperatures on Tuesday will range from
the upper 40s to lower 50s.
