...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM CDT
FOR ROOKS AND OSBORNE COUNTIES...

At 1228 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of Alton to 10 miles northwest of
Catherine, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Automated Weather Station.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

  Alton and Codell around 1235 AM CDT.
  Natoma around 1240 AM CDT.
  Portis around 1245 AM CDT.
  Osborne around 1250 AM CDT.
  Downs around 1255 AM CDT.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. These storms are producing widespread
wind damage across the warned area. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
