...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING...

Very mild air, low humidity readings of 15 to 30 percent away
from Lake Michigan, and northwest winds gusting to 20 to 25 mph
will lead to an increase potential for wild fires this afternoon
into early this evening. High temperatures should top out in the
middle 60s to lower 70s north, and in the 70s south.

Although north-central and far northeast Wisconsin saw some rain
late last evening and early this morning, conditions are expected
to rapidly dry out this afternoon due to the sunshine and low
humidity.

Persons are urged to be careful with any activities that could
potentially lead to a wildland fire. Campfires, outdoor grills,
smoking materials, chain saws, and all-terrain vehicles all have
the potential to throw a spark and ignite a dangerous and
destructive fire.
