Sunny skies were in place across central and eastern Kansas today
with temperatures slightly above normal. Late afternoon readings
ranged from around 70 over north central Kansas, to the upper 70s
across the remainder of the area.

A cold front will bring storms this evening to central and
southern Missouri along with eastern Oklahoma. Some of these
storms will likely be severe. Meanwhile, dry conditions are
anticipated across the remainder of the Plains. For Thursday,
an upper level low pressure system will bring shower and storm
chances to much of Iowa and northern Nebraska with Kansas,
Oklahoma and Missouri remaining dry.

Overnight lows are expected to range from around 40 over western
Nebraska to the upper 50s across eastern Oklahoma. Look for highs
on Thursday to range from the upper 50s across western Nebraska to
the upper 70s across southern Kansas and Oklahoma.
