...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MOREHOUSE PARISH
THROUGH 900 AM CDT...

At 827 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Sterlington, or 11 miles west of Bastrop, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Bastrop around 830 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
