...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT TYLER...NORTHWESTERN NEWTON AND
JASPER COUNTIES THROUGH 800 AM CDT...

At 727 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Corrigan to 8 miles south of
Alabama-Coushatta Reservation. Movement was east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Woodville, Newton, Kirbyville, Colmesneil, Call, Ebenezer,
Rockland, Warren, Town Bluff, Browndell, Trout Creek, Farrsville,
Magnolia Springs, Mt. Union, Spurger, Jamestown, Roganville,
Harrisburg, and Ivanhoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
