FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Westerly winds have shifted to become southerly across the
northern portions of the Lake as high pressure of 30.3 inches sinks
southward into the Lower Mississippi Valley and low pressure of
29.5 inches remains in place over northern Quebec. Winds remain
light through the overnight hours. Breezy south winds will
develop Monday, shifting westerly into Tuesday afternoon as low
pressure of 29.5 inches approaches the northern Great Lakes from
Saskatchewan and Manitoba and passes to the north. Winds could
approach gale force during this time. Winds shift to northerly
Tuesday night as the low passes eastward and a cold front moves
down the lake. Northerly gales will be possible behind the front.

.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt diminishing to 10 to 15 kt
late this evening, then becoming west after midnight becoming
southwest 5 to 10 kt late. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 kt becoming south 15 to 25 kt.
Waves 1 to 2 ft building to 3 to 5 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 25 kt becoming southwest gales
to 35 kt. Showers likely overnight. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally
to 8 ft building to 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt in
the afternoon. Chance of showers in the morning, then showers
likely in the afternoon. Waves 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft
subsiding to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt becoming north. Waves
6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft building to 8 to 11 ft
occasionally to 14 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...North winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft subsiding to 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming east 10 to
15 kt. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to
