Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana
National Weather Service Louisville KY
351 PM EDT Mon Apr 15 2024

.DISCUSSION...Isolated to widely scattered storms will be possible
this evening, mainly across southern Indiana and central Kentucky.
Some of these storms may be quite strong.

Showers and sub-severe storms may linger into early Tuesday
morning before pushing northward out of the area, leaving us dry
and warm Tuesday afternoon. The next wave of showers and storms
will then come in from the west overnight Tuesday night, moving
off to the east Wednesday morning. Then Wednesday afternoon and
early evening another round of storms will be possible, and these
may be severe with all severe hazards.

The end of the week and into the weekend will be characterized by
a cool-down, with lows in the 40s Saturday night through Monday
night. Sunday night will likely be the chilliest, with some
locations dipping into the 30s.
