...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT
FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEW MADRID COUNTY...

At 1034 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Marston, or
near Portageville, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
New Madrid, Lilbourn, Marston, Howardville, and North Lilbourn.

This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 35 and 46.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for western
Kentucky...and southeastern Missouri.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
