.DISCUSSION...

HOT AND DRY TODAY AS THE FIRE SITS SQUARELY UNDERNEATH THE RIDGE.
A SWATH OF EVEN DRIER AIR SHOULD BE MOVING IN THIS AFTERNOON WITH
12 TO 18 MPH WESTERLY WINDS MIXING DOWN AROUND 1400. RH RECOVERY
WILL BE GOOD IN THE LOW ELEVATIONS BUT FAIR AT MID SLOPE AS A DRY
COLD FRONT APPROACHES BUT DOES NOT FULLY MOVE INTO THE AREA...IT
IS NOT EXPECTED TO HAVE MUCH AFFECT ON THE FIRE AS THE WINDS ARE
NOT VERY STRONG WITH OR BEHIND THE FRONT...SO WIND AT THE FIRE
WILL BE TERRAIN/LAKESHORE DRIVEN OVERNIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW.

THE RIDGE REMAINS IN THE AREA TOMORROW WITH SIMILAR HIGH TEMPERATURES
AND LOW HUMIDITY EXPECTED BUT WINDS WILL BE LIGHTER AND IT WILL
BE MORE STABLE UNDERNEATH THE RIDGE. MONDAY WILL BE WARM AND DRY
AGAIN BUT WITH MORE WIND AS A STRONGER COLD FRONT APPROACHES...BUT
IT WILL BRING SOME HIGHER HUMIDITY AND A CHANCE FOR A WET
THUNDERSTORM FOR TUESDAY.

...THUNDERSTORMS IMPLY STRONG GUSTY AND ERRATIC WINDS...
...HAINES INDEX IS HIGH LEVEL HAINES BOTH DAY AND NIGHT...
