EVENING THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN AND CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE WIND RIVER BASIN THIS
MORNING...RESULTING IN VERY LIMITED VISIBILITIES FOR MORNING
DRIVERS. FOG SHOULD LIFT THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY...SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL AND WIND EXPECTED IN THE
WEST. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 FEET ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WESTERN
MOUNTAINS WITH THE LOWER ELEVATIONS AND VALLEYS POTENTIALLY
RECEIVING 5 TO 10 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.

STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO EXPECTED ACROSS THE RED DESERT...INTERSTATE 80
CORRIDOR...SOUTH PASS AND JEFFREY CITY AREA TO CASPER SUNDAY
AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY AND ALSO THE ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT
CODY FOOTHILLS WITH STRONG GUSTS. THE GREEN RIVER BASIN AND AREA
FROM DUBOIS TO RIVERTON MAY ALSO BLOW QUITE STRONG ON MONDAY.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH CHRISTMAS DAY...A NEW STORM SYSTEM WILL
DEVELOP TO OUR WEST SPREADING SNOW FROM WEST TO EAST. THE POTENTIAL
FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS STILL A POSSIBILITY ACROSS CENTRAL
AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING ON CHRISTMAS DAY. STAY TUNED OVER THE NEXT
SEVERAL DAYS ON THIS POTENTIAL TRAVEL IMPACTING STORM.
