...SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL POSSIBLE AT TIMES ACROSS WESTERN WYOMING...

PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES OVER WESTERN
WYOMING AS A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE COMBINES WITH
INCREASING MOISTURE FROM BOTH THE DESERT SOUTHWEST AND THE PACIFIC. A
FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH SMALL HAIL...HEAVY RAIN...AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED BY THE AFTERNOON. BY THIS EVENING...
RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD NORTH WITH THUNDERSTORMS BECOMING
MORE ISOLATED...BUT PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN STILL
POSSIBLE...PARTICULARLY OVER AND ALONG THE SOUTH FACING SLOPES OF
THE MOUNTAINS. HEAVY RAIN COULD CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING OF LOW LYING
OR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS...AND MAY ALSO CAUSE MUD OR ROCK SLIDES IN
AREAS OF STEEPLY SLOPED TERRAIN.
