...QUICK HITTING SPRING STORM TODAY AND AGAIN TUESDAY...

THE FIRST OF TWO STORM SYSTEMS TO IMPACT THE AREA THROUGH TUESDAY IS
CURRENTLY BRINGING SNOW SHOWERS TO MUCH OF THE AREA EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. A QUICK 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN SOME OF THE
LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH 3 TO 5 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS. ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. WEST WINDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE
AS THIS SYSTEM PASSES THROUGH.

ANOTHER EVEN MORE POTENT STORM SYSTEM WILL ARRIVE IN THE LATE
MORNING HOURS TUESDAY AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY EVENING. A QUICK 1
TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN THE VALLEYS WITH 4 TO 8 INCHES IN
THE MOUNTAINS. EVEN STRONGER WEST WINDS WILL OCCUR WITH THIS SYSTEM.
THE VALLEYS WILL BLOW SOUTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WHILE THE HIGHER
MOUNTAINS SEE WEST WIND 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH
CAUSING CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. THE SYSTEM WILL
BEGIN TO WIND DOWN LATER TUESDAY NIGHT.

FAST APPROACHING EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL BRING A QUICK
SHOT OF SNOW SHOWERS WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW POSSIBLE IN SOME
OF THE LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH 3 TO 5 INCHES IN THE MOUNTAINS. ISOLATED

SHOT OF SNOW SHOWERS WITH 1 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW EXPECTED. ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. WEST WINDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE
AS THIS SYSTEM PASSES THROUGH.

ANOTHER EVEN MORE POTENT STORM SYSTEM WILL ARRIVE AROUND MIDDAY
TUESDAY AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY EVENING. A QUICK 3 TO 6 INCHES OF
SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN THE WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS. EVEN STRONGER WEST
WINDS WILL OCCUR WITH THIS SYSTEM. THE MOUNTAINS WILL BLOW WEST 25 TO
35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH CAUSING CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW...INCLUDING OVER SOUTH PASS. THE SYSTEM WILL BEGIN TO
WIND DOWN LATER TUESDAY NIGHT.

MOVING THROUGH THE AREA EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND WILL BRING A QUICK
SHOT OF SNOW SHOWERS WITH LOCAL ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 2 INCHES
POSSIBLE. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. WEST WINDS WILL
BE ON THE INCREASE AS THIS SYSTEM PASSES THROUGH.

A FAST MOVING PACIFIC STORM WILL BRING WIDESPREAD MAINLY SNOW SHOWERS
TO SWEETWATER COUNTY INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS WITH LOCAL LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS. THE AIR MASS WILL BE UNSTABLE ENOUGH FOR SOME EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. STRONG WEST WIND OF 20
TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED AT TIMES...
ESPECIALLY DURING PASSING HEAVIER SHOWERS.

ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE IN TUESDAY AFTERNOON WITH ANOTHER
ROUND OF SNOW SHOWERS AND EVEN STRONGER WEST WIND. SOME OF THE
HIGHER TERRAIN MAY SEE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW WITH THIS SYSTEM. WEST
WIND WILL INCREASE TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO 55 MPH.

AFTERNOON...

A FAST MOVING PACIFIC STORM WILL BRING WIDESPREAD MAINLY SNOW
SHOWERS TO THE GREEN MOUNTAINS AND RATTLESNAKE RANGE INTO THE
EVENING HOURS. THE AIR MASS WILL BE UNSTABLE ENOUGH FOR SOME EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS. LOCAL LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE WITH HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS.

A QUICK HITTING WEATHER SYSTEM MOVING IN FROM THE SOUTHWEST WILL
MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON WITH FALLING
TEMPERATURES AND PERIODS OF MAINLY SNOW SHOWERS ALONG WITH GUSTY
WIND TO 40 MPH.

ANOTHER EVEN MORE POTENT STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE DUBOIS AREA
TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW SHOWERS
AND EVEN STRONGER NORTHWEST WIND. A QUICK 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW IS
POSSIBLE ALONG WITH NORTHWEST WIND 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO
55 MPH.
