...ELEVATED FIRE DANGER TO CONTINUE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS...BEHIND YESTERDAYS COLD FRONT...WILL
CONTINUE ELEVATED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN WYOMING. GUSTY WINDS...OF 25-35 MPH...ARE
THEN EXPECTED TO DIMINISH DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING HOURS TODAY...DIMINISHING THE ELEVATED FIRE
DANGER. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN LIGHT THE NEXT FEW
DAYS...HOWEVER...VERY DRY AIR WILL REMAIN PRESENT ACROSS THE
STATE THROUGH AT LEAST THE END OF THE WEEK...AND POSSIBLY INTO THE
WEEKEND.

PLEASE BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS WITH FIRE THIS AFTERNOON. BE MINDFUL OF
WHAT COULD CAUSE A SPARK...NOT ALL SOURCES ARE OBVIOUS...FOR
INSTANCE...DO NOT PARK A TRUCK OR ATV IN TALL GRASS AND BE SURE
THAT YOU SECURE ANY CHAINS INVOLVED IN TOWING A VEHICLE. SOME OF
THE MORE OBVIOUS SOURCES INCLUDE ABANDONED
CAMPFIRES...WELDING...AND AGRICULTURAL BURNING.
