...Significant rainfall possible this evening...

An approaching storm system will have the potential to produce a
period of moderate to heavy rain showers and isolated
thunderstorms mainly this evening. The potential for one half to
one inch of rain is quite possible across Teton county this
evening. Showers will be on the increase this afternoon but the
best chance of heavier rain showers will be this evening. Rainfall
on already high flowing streams could cause some localized
flooding. Stay tuned for further statements today and be alert if
you are near area streams and rivers later today and tonight.

...Strong wind will develop across parts of Sweetwater County this
afternoon...

An approaching storm system and cold front will aid in strong west
winds across much of Sweetwater County this afternoon, especially
near and east of Rock Springs where wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph are
expected. Travellers along Interstate 80 should be prepared for
increasing west wind and sudden sharp wind gusts this afternoon
and early evening. Winds will diminish later this evening.

An approaching storm system and cold front will aid in a rapid increase
in the southwest wind across the area this morning. Southwest wind
will increase to 30 to 40 mph for much of the area with gusts of
45 to 55 mph. Travellers along Interstate 25, highways 287, 20 26
and 220 should be prepared for very strong southwest winds this
afternoon and early evening including Outer Drive in Casper. Winds
will diminish later this evening.
