Including the cities of Jeffrey City and Casper

Southwest winds will continue to increase from Beaver Rim and
Jeffrey City to the Casper area through this afternoon. Southwest
winds are already blowing at around 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph
in Jeffrey City and along Outer Drive south of Casper early this
morning. These winds are expected to increase to 35 to 45 mph with
gusts of 55 to 65 mph along Outer Drive. Southwest winds of 30
mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected in the rest of Casper
by 8 am this morning and will persist through the afternoon hours
today. Southwest winds of 30 to 40 mph with with occasional gusts
of 50 mph are also expected along Highways 220 and 287 including
Jeffrey City today. Strong cross winds can be expected in these
areas today and may impact light weight and high profile vehicles
today.
