CHIEF JOSEPH HIGHWAY CONTINUES TO GUST BETWEEN 55 AND 70 MPH
EARLY THIS MORNING...WITH WEST WINDS BLOWING 35 TO 45 MPH ACROSS THE
REST OF THE ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS WITH GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH COMMON.
ACROSS THE CODY FOOTHILLS...STRONG WEST WINDS WILL LIKELY
DEVELOP LATER THIS MORNING...AND BLOW 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 45
TO 55 MPH POSSIBLE AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY AROUND AND SOUTH OF CLARK
AND JUST SOUTH OF CODY ALONG HIGHWAY 120. A FEW AREAS ON THE WEST
SIDE OF CLARK AND UP INTO THE MOUNTAINS ABOVE CLARK MAY VERY WELL SEE
SOME WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH THIS MORNING...BEFORE DECREASING AFTER
9AM. TRAVELLERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR STRONG AND ERRATIC WIND GUSTS
THROUGH MID MORNING.
