PARK UNTIL 830 PM MDT...

AT 741 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 10
MILES WEST OF MAMMOTH...MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

THE MAIN HAZARDS FROM THIS STORM WILL BE HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING.

THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR MAMMOTH AROUND 800 PM MDT...BUT THE
STRONGEST ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO PASS JUST SOUTH OF MAMMOTH.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME COULD CAUSE MINOR
FLOODING IN LOW LYING OR POOR DRAINAGE AREAS...AS WELL AS PONDING OF
WATER ON AREA ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
