...AREAS OF STRONG NORTHWEST WIND THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

NORTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 50
MPH BETWEEN DUBOIS AND CROWHEART BY THIS AFTERNOON. THESE WINDS
ARE EXPECTED TO PUSH DOWN INTO THE RIVERTON AREA WITH A COLD
FRONTAL PASSAGE EARLY THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. THE
WINDS WILL DIMINISH AFTER 8 AM SUNDAY MORNING. WIND MAY CREATE
HAZARDOUS CROSSWINDS ACROSS AREA ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY HIGHWAY 26
WEST OF RIVERTON AND ALONG HIGHWAY 287 BETWEEN FORT WASHAKIE AND
DUBOIS.

EXPECTED TO INCREASE ACROSS PORTIONS OF JOHNSON COUNTY THIS
EVENING...LASTING THROUGH THE DAY ON SUNDAY BEFORE DECREASING
LATER SUNDAY AFTERNOON. WIND MAY CREATE HAZARDOUS CROSSWINDS
ACROSS AREA ROADWAYS. MOTORISTS ON INTERSTATES 90 AND 25 SHOULD
MONITOR TRAVEL CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY THOSE PULLING LIGHT
TRAILERS OR IN HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
