SATURDAY...

AN APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL INCREASE THE PRESSURE
GRADIENT ACROSS THE ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS AND CODY FOOTHILLS WITH
STRONG GUSTY WINDS DEVELOPING THIS EVENING. THE STRONGEST WINDS
WILL LIKELY OCCUR LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. THE
STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY BE IN THE GAP FLOW FAVORED AREAS JUST
SOUTH OF CLARK AND JUST SOUTH OF CODY ALONG HIGHWAY 120. WEST
WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 45 TO 55 MPH WITH
LOCALIZED GUSTS AROUND 60 MPH.

GUSTY WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA FROM
EASTERN SWEETWATER THROUGH EASTERN FREMONT AND ACROSS NATRONA
COUNTIES LATE TONIGHT CONTINUING THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. THE
STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY OCCUR SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...INCREASING TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 45 TO 55 MPH WITH

CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED
SUNDAY.

SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES MAY OCCUR IN JACKSON HOLE...WITH 6 TO
12 INCHES POSSIBLE IN THE TETON MOUNTAINS. AREAS OF WEST TO
SOUTHWEST WIND AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH COULD CAUSE
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS. VISIBILITY WILL BE LOW AT
TIMES OVER TETON PASS.

SUNDAY.

SNOWFALL OF 2 TO 5 INCHES MAY OCCUR IN THE UPPER GREEN RIVER
BASIN FROM PINEDALE TO BONDURANT...WITH 5 TO 9 INCHES POSSIBLE IN
THE WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS. AREAS OF WEST TO SOUTHWEST WIND AT 20 TO
30 MPH WITH GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH COULD CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW IN OPEN AREAS. VISIBILITY WILL BE LOW AT TIMES OVER SOUTH
PASS.
