...STRONG WINDS EXPECTED ALONG THE CODY FOOTHILLS THIS MORNING
THROUGH TODAY...

AN APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL INCREASE THE PRESSURE
GRADIENT ACROSS THE ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS AND CODY FOOTHILLS WITH
STRONG GUSTY WINDS DEVELOPING THIS MORNING. THE STRONGEST WINDS
WILL LIKELY OCCUR THIS MORNING. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY
BE IN THE GAP FLOW FAVORED AREAS JUST SOUTH OF CLARK AND JUST
SOUTH OF CODY ALONG HIGHWAY 120. WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 25 TO
35 MPH WITH GUSTS 45 TO 55 MPH WITH LOCALIZED GUSTS AROUND 65 MPH.

SUNDAY...LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY MODERATE SNOW WILL MIX WITH STRONG
WIND...REDUCING VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN A HALF MILE AT TIMES IN
BLOWING SNOW IN ADDITION TO CAUSING DRIFTING OF SNOW.

A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL INCREASE THE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS
EASTERN SWEETWATER...SOUTHERN FREMONT AND NATRONA COUNTIES. GUSTY
SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THIS AREA THIS MORNING
THROUGH THIS EVENING...THEN AGAIN BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THE
STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY OCCUR SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...INCREASING TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 45 TO 55 MPH WITH
LOCALIZED GUSTS AROUND 60 MPH.

LIGHT SNOW WILL INCREASE ACROSS WESTERN WYOMING TONIGHT. THEN
MORE SIGNIFICANT SNOW WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE
THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED ON SUNDAY.

SNOWFALL OF 2 TO 5 INCHES MAY OCCUR IN THE UPPER GREEN RIVER
BASIN FOOTHILLS FROM PINEDALE TO BONDURANT...WITH 5 TO 10 INCHES
POSSIBLE IN THE WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS. AREAS OF WEST TO SOUTHWEST
WIND AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH COULD CAUSE BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS. VISIBILITY WILL BE LOW AT TIMES
OVER SOUTH PASS.

LIGHT SNOW WILL INCREASE ACROSS WESTERN WYOMING TONIGHT. THEN
MORE SIGNIFICANT SNOW WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH
SUNDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT.

SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 5 INCHES MAY OCCUR IN THE STAR VALLEY...WITH 5
TO 10 INCHES POSSIBLE IN THE SALT RIVER AND WYOMING RANGES. AREAS
OF WEST TO SOUTHWEST WIND AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH
COULD CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS. VISIBILITY
WILL BE LOW AT TIMES OVER SALT RIVER PASS.

AFTERNOON AND EVENING...BLOWING OUT OF THE WEST TO NORTHWEST 20
TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS 35 TO 45 MPH AND LOCALIZED GUSTS AROUND 55
MPH.
