BIGHORN MOUNTAINS SOUTHEAST-NORTHEAST JOHNSON COUNTY-
746 AM MST SAT JAN 24 2015

WINDS WILL INCREASE OUT OF THE NORTHWEST THIS MORNING WITH GUSTS
OVER 55 MPH POSSIBLE FROM BUFFALO NORTH AND WEST BY NOON. THESE GUSTY
WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BLOW THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS...
RETREATING BACK INTO THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE BIGHORNS AFTER
SUNSET. THESE STRONG WINDS WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY SOME PERIODS OF
LIGHT SNOW IN THE BIGHORNS AND WILL CAUSE AREAS OF HEAVY BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW RESULTING IN DIFFICULT TRAVEL AND LOW VISIBILITY AT
TIMES. IN ADDITION...THE GUSTY WINDS WILL CREATE A BLOW-OVER RISK FOR
HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES AND LIGHT TRAILERS TRAVELLING BETWEEN BUFFALO
AND THE MONTANA BORDER ALONG INTERSTATE 90.

STRONG WEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING AND WILL GUST BETWEEN
50 AND 60 MPH ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 120 INTO TONIGHT. THE
WINDIEST LOCATIONS WILL LIKELY BE JUST SOUTH OF CLARK ALONG HIGHWAY
120 AND ALSO JUST SOUTH OF CODY. THE STRONG AND ERRATIC CROSS WINDS
WILL POSE A BLOW-OVER RISK FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES AND LIGHT
TRAILERS TRAVELING BETWEEN MEETEETSE AND THE MONTANA BORDER ALONG
HIGHWAY 120.

WINDS WILL CONTINUE FROM THE NORTHWEST THIS MORNING AND WILL GUST
IN EXCESS OF 45 MPH BETWEEN CROWHEART AND DUBOIS. THE GUSTY WINDS
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT TONIGHT...WHICH COULD CAUSE DIFFICULT
TRAVEL FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES AND LIGHT TRAILER TRAFFIC.

NATRONA COUNTY LOWER ELEVATIONS-

SOUTHWEST WIND AT 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH WILL BE
ENCOUNTERED ALONG HIGHWAY 258 WYOMING BOULEVARD ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
CASPER AND ALONG AREAS OF HIGHWAY 220 BETWEEN CASPER AND
INDEPENDENCE ROCK THROUGH THE MORNING.  THESE WINDS WILL NOT BE
QUITE AS STRONG IN THE AFTERNOON.  THESE WINDS MAY CAUSE LOSS OF
VEHICLE CONTROL OR A BLOW OVER TO HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES TRAVELING
EMPTY OR WITH A LIGHT LOAD.
