...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL KANAWHA COUNTY THROUGH
400 PM EDT...

At 313 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Charleston, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Charleston, South Charleston, Dunbar, Sissonville, Marmet, Pinch,
Coal Fork, and Elkview.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 11.
 Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 96 and 113.
 Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 53 and 57.
 West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 91 and 95.
 Route 119 between mile markers 75 and 80.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
