...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BAY...SOUTHEASTERN
WALTON AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT/415 PM
CDT/...

At 419 PM EDT/319 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 12 miles southwest of Vernon, moving southeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Vernon, Live Oak, Ebro, Hinsons Crossroads, Red Bay, Seminole Hills,
Greenhead, Bruce, Red Head, Holmes Valley, Millers Ferry, Pine Log,
Laird, Smyrna, Spring Hollow, Sylvania, and Riverside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
