.DISCUSSION...

Sunday will be warm across the region has the upper level ridge continues
to move to the east. Winds on Sunday morning will be light and variable
are are expected to start picking up out of the south after 3 PM. Stronger
winds will continue through the evening before reducing to around 5 to 10 mph
out of the west overnight. By around 9 AM Monday, winds will shift to the
northwest and begin increasing again through the rest of the day. With
regards to precipitation, there is a slight risk of afternoon thunderstorms
Sunday afternoon. These will largely be pop up thunderstorms with hit-or-miss
rain chances. Otherwise, Monday will start off with a less than 20% chance
of showers at the lower elevations before the next system moves through by the
afternoon bringing more rain and snow to the area through Thursday morning.
