...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL RILEY...WESTERN
POTTAWATOMIE...SOUTHWESTERN NEMAHA AND SOUTHEASTERN MARSHALL COUNTIES
THROUGH 130 AM CDT...

At 1241 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Marysville to 6 miles
northwest of Blaine to near Riley. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down twigs or small limbs and blow
         around objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects and
         vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Manhattan, Marysville, Blue Rapids, Westmoreland, Blaine, Riley,
Frankfort, Leonardville, Olsburg, Randolph, Vermillion, Wheaton,
Lillis, Keats, and Tuttle Creek Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
northeastern Kansas.
